Point to Point racing in Liscarroll is a great day out in the countryside where people come together to enjoy the sport and to socialise.
It was revived at Liscarroll in 1954, and it has remained a popular venue on the circuit ever since, most commonly associated with Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Denman, who won his maiden as a five-year-old in 2005.
A left-handed course dominated by two long straights, for the 2022 fixture, racing reverted to the old course, the track itself remains unchanged, however both the starting line and finish line will now be on the lower side of the course.
